softPAP
The exhalation relief softPAP is intended for patients who find
it unpleasant to exhale against high pressure. With softPAP
the pressure is temporarily reduced during the transition from
inhalation to exhalation.
When you inhale, the device returns to the pre-set therapy
pressure. softPAP can be set in two levels
(1 = slight pressure reduction; 2 = somewhat greater pressure
reduction) or deactivated with OFF.
Select the level you find comfortable with the
and
keys
and confirm your selection with the small checkmark on the
lower right of the screen.
Setting the time
Here you can set the time with the
and
keys. With the
arrow to the right you can switch from hours to minutes and to
the format for the time display (0 – 24 hours or 0 – 12 hours).
You will be able to use the softPAP exhalation relief
function if it has been activated by the doctor or dealer.
If it has not been activated, the softPAP function will not
be visible on the screen.
