Installation

of Controller

Installation of Controller

The performance of your VersaJet LC Ink Jet Printer can be greatly affected by the way it is
installed. It is very important that this section of the manual is studied carefully before
performing an installation.

Unpacking

The VersaJet LC System is supplied in various corrugated boxes. Open the boxes, remove
and check the contents. Below is a checklist of parts contained for a typical system. Use the
packing slip as your checklist.

The VersaJet LC Printer is made up of these major components; the Controller, Printhead & Ink
System Assembly. This section details the installation process for these major components
and peripherals.

Application Notes

1.

When mounting the VersaJet LC Controller, it should be placed to allow the user easy access.
The LCD display should be viewable where the keypad can be used.

2.

A standard 10' printhead umbilical cord length is included as standard. If the need arises, longer
printhead umbilicals can be supplied as an option.

3.

The controller is industrial, however, not water tight and should be mounted away from wash down
environments or covered during the wash down process.
