There is a danger of suffocation.
Keep the cover away from children. Never use it as a tent or for any
similar purpose (danger of suffocation!).
After riding your bike, always allow it to cool down completely before
putting the motorcycle cover over it. Otherwise the heat given off by
the machine may melt the material, resulting in damage to both the
cover and the bike (fire risk).
Do not use the cover on a soiled bike. When the cover is pulled over
or if it flaps in the wind, sand and dirt may get caught between the
cover and parts of the bike, resulting in scratching. Always take care
when fitting the cover over any sharp edges and corners on your
motorcycle. Always keep the surfaces of the motorcycle that face
the cover clean.
5 | How to use
Find as sheltered a spot as possible with a clean, even surface into which the vehicle’s
parking stand cannot sink.
Lay the Drive-In cover out on the floor; unzip the base from the top section. Wait for
the vehicle to cool down and then roll it onto the base section, and support it on the
parking stand. It is recommended that a board be placed underneath the parking stand
to protect the floor section. Lay the upper section over the vehicle. If necessary, place
a dehumidifier under the cover (follow the instructions for use of the dehumidifier when
doing so). Close the zipper on all sides of the Drive-In cover, and make sure that the
corners of the vehicle do not gouge into the material – the material must not be pulled
taut (align the vehicle differently if necessary). Set up the air scoop for ventilation. In
case of damp weather or major temperature fluctuations, uncover the vehicle once in a
while for ventilation.
6 | Storage
If you do not use the cover for extended periods of time, you must allow it to dry
completely before packing it up or putting it away.
7 | Cleaning
Only use clear, lukewarm water to clean the cover. Never use detergents or other
cleaning agents. To dry the cover, hang it over an outdoor washing line or put it in a
suitable indoor area.
