RS-232C PARAMETER SETUP (OPTIONAL)
REAR OF VCR
This Interface conforms with RS-232C EIA specifications and the VCR can be controlled with a personal computer.
(Use a 9-pin cross-type D-Sub cable.)
1. Turn on the power.
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Select VCR SETUP by pressing MOVE, and then press SELECT to proceed.
4. Select BAUD RATE, BIT LENGTH, PARITY and STOP BIT by pressing MOVE and then press SELECT to change the value.
5. When done, press MENU twice to return to normal display.

- Sets the transmission speed.
- The sequence is: 9600 (9600 bps) 1200 2400 4800 9600
- Sets the number of data bits.
- The Sequence is: 8BIT 7BIT
- Bit setup for detecting transmission errors.
- The sequence is: NONE ODD (odd number) EVEN (even number) NONE
- Sets the Stop Bit.
- A Start Bit will be added to indicate the data start and Stop Bit to indicate data end.
- The Start Bit is always 1. The Stop Bit can be 1 bit or 2 bits.
- The sequence is: 1BIT 2BIT
