1. Load a previously recorded tape.
AUTO play : If a cassette with the erasure prevention tab removed is loaded, the unit automatically begins playback.
2. Press the REC/PB SPEED UP or DOWN buttons to select the desired playback mode.
A tape recorded in 2H mode cannot be played back in any other mode. *
3. Press the PLAY button to start playback.
4. Press the STOP button to stop playback.
If the Power/Timer button is pressed during rewind, the tape rewinds completely and then the VCR power turns off.

The VIDEO setting in the REC MODE menu should be set according to the type of video to be played back (color or B/W). *

There is normal sound playback only when a tape recorded in the 6H through 30H modes is played back in its respective
mode.
If a recording is played back in a higher REC/PB mode than it was recorded, the picture will be played back in slow motion,
and if a recording is played back in a lower mode than it was recorded, the picture will be played back in fast motion.
