Protective measures
Repairs to the electrical parts of the device or
to power supply lines may only be carried out
by qualified electricians.
–
Have the device checked immediately by a
qualified electrician after a short circuit or
malfunction.
–
Only use the device and accessories for their
intended purpose.
–
Operate the device only in the designated
working environment.
Avoid vagrant currents.

Connect the earth cable directly to the
workpiece or to the holder provided for the
workpiece.
–
Place the cleaning electrode or handle on
the workpiece or work surface so that the
electrode is not in contact with the metal
surface. Otherwise, current will continue to
flow, which can lead to damage or hazards.
In case of accidents, disconnect the device
from the mains immediately. Always discon-
nect the mains plug when carrying out main-
tenance work.
Operate the unit only with appropriate person-
al, acid-proof protective equipment (protective
gloves, apron and safety goggles)
Always switch off the machine before changing
the processing tools (brushes).
Secure hot objects against accidental contact.
Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap
and plenty of water after working with electro-
lytes.

Wipe away splashed electrolyte liquid im-
mediately with plenty of water.
Be sure to observe the detailed instructions
in our EC safety data sheet for the electrolytes
used.

Store the device, accessories or chemicals
in such a way that neither accessories nor
chemicals can get into the hands of chil-
dren.
Wearers of pacemakers must not work with the
unit and must not be in the immediate vicinity
of the device!
Never eat or drink at the workplace! It is pro-
hibited!
