Rear Vent Configurations with Horizontal Termination and No Rise

•

Use 8” Diameter Vent with a 6-5/8” to 8” adapter (increaser). We recommend using the minimum
vent kit from Travis Industries (SKU 96200311). This kit contains the following components used to
vent the stove through a typical exterior wall:

-- 6-5/8” to 8” Adapter (Black)

-- Pipe Section (3.9”)

--- Thimble Cover (Black)

-- Thimble (2 pieces)

-- High-Wind Horizontal Cap

•

Place the 6-5/8” to 8” adapter directly onto stove (see illustration below).

•

Maximum Horizontal Run of 4’.

•

On LP configurations with an extended vent configuration (more than 3.9” horizontal section) a 14”
snorkel is required. A high-wind horizontal cap is required for all other installations(see below).

•

Horizontal sections require a ¼” (6mm) rise every 12”
(305mm) of travel.

•

Maximum of one (1) 45° elbow may be used between
horizontal sections.

•

Diffuser must be set to closed (#2) position.

•

Intake restrictor set to #1 (stock).

•

Exhaust restrictor must be set to the #1 (stock) position
except for LP extended vent configurations (remove the
exhaust restrictor and replace the screws).

•

Do not install the intake damper plate or exhaust
restrictor extender plates.
