Description
To setup the configuration of QEMA card.
Side, Line and Signaling
: Determined by Jump location of
Quad E&M Card.
A law/u law:
Option for analog compression
Impedance
: For 2W selection, impedance configuration which
can be configured as 600 ohm or 900ohm; while the
impedance configuration is fixed for 4W as 600 ohm.
TXGain/RXGain
: Range of TXGain and RXGain configuration;
please refer to Chapter 1.2
“Product Specification”.
RX Signaling Bit
: Can be configured as *.
Note1:
* stands for
“don’t care”
Note2:
Relay Open/Close Rule: When the card receives a signal bit
that matches the settled bits, the port will acts the corresponded
action: Relay Open/Close.
Note3:
When the OOS ALARM is activated with settled bits, its
priority is higher than RELAY OPEN/CLOSE. On the other hand, to
close the alarm, simply set the bit ****.
Note4:
Priority ranking: OOS ALARM > RELAY CLOSE > RELAY
OPEN
Scenario1
: Take the following screen as an example. The
Relay Open is **** which is set on default, and Relay Close is
configured as 11**.
Hypothesis 1-1:
Relay is now open, and users want to close it.
To do so, users need to receive the exact signaling bit 11**, for
example 1111, 1101, etc. If a mismatching signaling bit appears, will
be regarded invalid.
Hypothesis 1-2:
Assuming the relay is now close, and users
want to open it. To achieve this, users need to receive the bits other
than 11**, for example, 0011. If users receive bits 1100 or 1110
which matches 11**, the relay remains close.
Scenario2
: If the Relay Open is configured as 1001, and Relay
Close configuration stays the same as 11**.
