HANDLEBAR SWITCHES
Light Switch
Starter Button

To starter the engine, pull
the starter button, with the
transmission in neutral, the
ignition switch ON and the
engine stop switch at RUN.
The starter motor cranks the
engine when this button is
pulled.

Set the switch to
“ ”
to turn
on the low beam and the
taillight.
Set the switch to

to turn
on the high beam and the
taillight.
Set the switch to

to turn off
all the lights.
NOTE
Do not use the headlights with the engine turned off for
more than thirty minutes.
The battery may discharge to the point that the starter
motor will not operate properly. If this should happen,
remove the battery and recharge it.
