PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT
AIR CLEANER HOUSING DRAIN TUBE
The air cleaner housing drain tube should be serviced in
accordance with the Maintenance Schedule. (Riding
through water may require more frequent inspection.) If
deposits can be seen in the drain tube, the tube must be
cleaned before starting the vehicle.
1. Remove the drain tube (1) by removing the clip.
2. Drain the deposits.
3. Reinstall the drain tube, securing it with the clip(2).

CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT
The carburetor is a vital part of the engine and requires
very sophisticated adjustment. Most adjusting should be
left to our dealer who has the professional knowledge
and experience to do so. However, the idling speed may
be performed by the owner as a part of the usual
maintenance routine.

The carburetor was set at the LONGTING factory after
many tests. If the setting are disturbed by someone
without sufficient technical knowledge, poor engine
performance and damage may result.
