MACHINE DETAILS
Now press the [ENTER] key to move into the machine details menu, so that the display shows:
*MACHINE 93M1234
(The number 93M1234 shown is the machine serial number in this example).
To move out of this menu, or any other menu, all you have to do is to press the [CANCEL] key. Do
this now so that the display shows the MACHINE DETAILS menu again.
You now know how to move around the menu map, but how do you alter the data or the selection
entered within it? This is achieved in three easy steps, as demonstrated by the following example.
Step One
Suppose you with to alter the time of day, say from 9.00am to 10.00am. Use the keyboard as
described above to move to the Hours parameter. The display should show:
*HOURS 9
Notice how the “
✱
” character is on the left hand side of the display.
Step Two
Press the [ENTER] key to allow adjustment of the hours parameter. The display will now show:
HOURS* 9
Notice how the “
✱
” character has now moved to the right. This indicates that the number or selection
shown can now be adjusted by use of the [
▲
] and [
▼
] keys.
Step Three
Press the [
▲
] key once to change the hour from 9 to 10. The display will now show:
HOURS* 10
If you needed to alter a value substantially, for instance changing the threshold from 1000 to 2000,
the [
▲
] or [
▼
] keys can be held down to update the value rapidly.
