2. Mounting instructions
2.1.
Foreword
Please read these instructions carefully and
pay attention to general safety instructions..
Before you start with the installation, of the
stove, check:
o
If all parts are included (Notify supplier if
any of the parts are missing)
o
The stove for potential damages (pay
special attention to glass, fire door and
coating protection; Notify hauler, if
damages are found)
o
The functionality of all the movable parts
This manual is not a service handbook. Here
you won't find any instructions on how to
repair the stove.
2.2.
Regulations
Following regulations and standards have to
be followed:
o
EN 13240
o
State building regulations and provisions.
o
Fire-protection provisions.
o
All other European, national and local
regulations and provisions that deal with
installation of the stove.
3. Basic requirements
3.1.
Installation area
3.1.1.
Stove can be installed if:
o
Installation area is big enough to
ensure safe and normal use
(operating, cleaning …) of the stove.
o
Within radiation area of the stove,
there are no load-bearing construction
elements (ex. pillars).
o
Sufficient air supply is secured.
o
There is at least one door or window
that leads out of the room where the
stove is installed.
o
There is a direct or indirect air
connection with another room. .
3.1.2.
Stove must not be installed:
o
In rooms, where highly inflammable
and explosive substances or their
mixtures are being manufactured,
processed or stored.
o
In rooms that are ventilated and have
safety devices that prevent negative
pressure.
o
In rooms that have no adequate air
supply for stove to work properly.
3.1.3.
Installation requirements
o
Stove has to be installed in a way, that
connection parts (chimney flue, air
conduit), when needed of cleaning,
are easily accessible.
o
Walls in installation area of the stove,
must be free of electrical and gas
installations..
3.1.4.
Air combustion conduit
o
Air connection for additional air supply
to the room, where stove will be
installed, has to have a cross-section
of at least 100 cm
2
.
o
Fresh air conduit has to have an inbuilt
closing flap, where positions »open« -
»close«, must be clearly visible.
o
When calculating the necessary air
conduit cross-section, local (elbows,
filters etc.) and line (conduit length)
resistances have to be taken into
consideration.
o
When air travels through operating
combustion chamber, it heats up.
o
Air conduit's overflow resistance must
not exceed 4 Pa.
3.1.5.
Floor protection
o
If floor, where stove will be located, is
not fire resistant, it has to be protected
by a layer of fire-resistant material (ex.
6 mm thick glass plate).
o
Area where the stove will be installed,
must withstand the weight of the stove
and chimney.
o
Incombustible floor area in front of the
stove has to be at least 50 cm long,
while on the sides the distance must
not be less then 20 cm. (measured
from stove walls).
