Basic DVD Playback Functions
Playing the DVD
Depending on the disc, a menu may appear on the TV screen once the disc has loaded. Press the (Play) button to play a DVD.
Press the to pause playback.
Menu Playback (for DVD)
For DVD discs, the screen will display the DVD Disc Menu (Root Menu).
Press the (PLAY) button or the OK button to start from the highlighted content.
Press the BACK button to return to the Root Menu when playing the disc.
Stopping Playback
Press the button once to stop. Press the (PLAY) button to resume from where you stopped. Pressing the button twice to
stop will remove the resume feature. The next time you play the DVD it will start from the beginning of the disc.
In order to protect the disc, press the button and then press the button on the TV to eject the disc. When the disc is ejected,
hold the disc edge and remove it from the disc slot.
When not using the DVD function, please take out the disc to protect the DVD loader and the disc.
Previous / Next (for DVD / CD / Multimedia discs)
Press the button to play the last Title / Chapter / Track / Folder.
Press the button to play the next Title / Chapter / Track / Folder.
For DVD discs, the above functions may vary due to different DVD disc’s structure.
The sound is muted during these actions.
Forward / Backward (for DVD / CD / Multimedia discs)
There are 5 forwards and backwards speeds. Press the or button to toggle between the different speed options in
sequence. (x 2 / x 4 / x 8 / x 16 / x 32).
Press the (PLAY) button to return to normal speed playback.
For DVD discs, when selecting backward to first title / chapter, the disc will start from the beginning.
Pause (for DVD / CD / Multimedia discs)
• Press the button to pause; press the button again to resume playback.
Repeat (for DVD / CD / Multimedia discs)
Press the GREEN button to select repeat modes.
• For CD discs, while playing in sequence, you may use the repeat playback. Repeatedly press the GREEN button to toggle
between the different repeat functions (SHUFFLE / RANDOM / SINGLE / REPEAT ONE / REPEAT FOLDER / REPEAT OFF).
• For DVD discs, you may setup the repeat playback mode. There are 3 repeat modes, press the GREEN button to toggle
between the different repeat functions (REPEAT CHAPTER / REPEAT TITLE / REPEAT ALL/ REPEAT OFF).
For example.
REPEAT CHAPTER: will repeat the current selected chapter of the film
REPEAT TITLE: will repeat the current title playing
REPEAT ALL: will repeat the film when it finishes
• For MP3 / JPEG discs, while playing the disc, you may use the repeat playback. Repeatedly press the GREEN button to toggle
between the different repeat functions (SHUFFLE / RANDOM / SINGLE / REPEAT ONE / REPEAT FOLDER / REPEAT OFF).
If the current track is the first one, pressing the button will restart the disc from the beginning.
If the current track is the last one, pressing the button will stop the playback.
