FM Operation
Selecting FM Mode
To switch the unit to FM mode, press MODE/MENU repeatedly.
Auto Scan
To search for an FM station automatically, press and hold to start the forward or reverse
scanning. You can also press FM SCAN to scan automatically. The LCD display will show the
frequency being searched. Once a station has been found, the scanning will stop automatically.
Manual Scan
To search for FM stations manually, press until your desired station is reached.
With FM radio, it may be necessary to fine tune each station by pressing
repeatedly. Each press will adjust the frequency by 0.05MHz. If reception is still poor,
adjust the position of the FM aerial or try moving the radio to another location.
Presetting Stations
You can store up to 10 of your favourite FM stations to the memory. This will enable you to
access your favourite stations quickly and easily.
1. To store a preset, you must first be listening to the station
that you would like to save. Press and hold MODE/MENU,
then press to select <Preset Store> followed by
SELECT. “#: (Empty)” will show on the LCD display.
2. Press to select your desired preset station number
and then press SELECT to confirm. The station will be
stored and the LCD display will show “Preset # stored“.
Recalling a Preset Station
1. Once you have saved a station, you can recall it. Press
and hold MODE/MENU, then press to select <Preset
Recall> followed by SELECT.
2. Press to select your desired preset station number
followed by SELECT.
3. If you choose a preset station number that hasn’t been
allocated a station, “Preset empty” will be displayed.
