3.  Distribute the coffee evenly and press it lightly with the 

pressing plate (if there is too much coffee, the flow of water 
can become blocked).

The unit remains ready for brewing and maintains a 
constant heating temperature as long as the Power 
switch is left in the ‘

On

’ position. If the temperature 

drops, the 

Ready

 indicator will  go off. Please turn 

the selector control to the “

Stand-by

” position before 

brewing another coffee. The heater will automatically 
heat up to the correct brewing temperature and the 
ready indicator will illuminate.

If you are experiencing resistance in fitting in the porta 
filter, your may use a damp cloth to remove any old 
espresso grounds at the infusion head.

Brewing Coffee

1.  Make sure the selector control is in the “

Stand-by

” position.

2.  When the ready indicator illuminates, the unit is heated up 

and ready.

3.  Make sure the drip tray is in place.
4.  Place one or two pre-heated cups beneath the porta filter.
5.  Turn the selector control to the 

Coffee 

“ 

 

” position.

6.  After a few seconds, aromatic coffee will begin to run 

through.

7.  When sufficient coffee has flowed into the cups, set the 

selector control to the “

Stand-by

” position. This will stop the 

flow of coffee.

8.  If you do not need to use the steam function, set the power 

switch to the “

0

” position, unplug the mains cable and allow 

the machine to cool down.

9.  Remove the porta filter from the infusion head and using 

the holding clip to secure the filter in the porta filter, turn 
the porta filter upside down to empty the used coffee (used 
coffee grounds should be thrown away with domestic waste 
and not down the sink which may block drains). Rinse the 
filter and porta filter with water and allow to dry.

4.  Clean any excess coffee from the rim of the filter to ensure a 

proper fit under the brew head.

5.  Place the porta filter underneath the infusion head so that 

the handle is positioned to the left of centre (“

Unlock

   “ 

position). Lift the filter holder until it contacts the brew head 
and rotate anti-clockwise until it locks in place (“

   “ 

position).
