Preliminaries
This product is built to shred paper, credit cards and CDs/DVDs. It is not built to take
staples, paper clips, continuous forms, adhesive labels, transparencies, newspaper,
cardboard or any plastic other than credit cards and CDs/DVDs. Using it for these
purposes is likely to cause irreparable damage.

Operation
Operating Switch must be in the AUTO position to operate the shredder. Insert waste
bag for easy disposal.
What to do if...
Paper jam
:
Set to OFF, remove shredder head and empty the bin. Place back the
shredder head and follow any or all of the below procedures.
Continuous Operation:
3 minutes maximum
NOTE: Shredder rungs briefly
after each pass to clear
entry. Continuous
operation beyond 3
minutes will trigger
60 minutes cool down
period.
Set to OFF and plug in
Check paper amount
Set to AUTO
Feed into paper entry
and release
AUTO OFF REV

Set to REV for 2-3 seconds
Alternate slowly back and forth
Set to OFF for 2 to 3
seconds
Set to REV position
again to ensure
no paper pieces
trapped in the
shredder head
