Connecting speaker system
If you wish to use active loudspeakers or an active subwoofer, you can
connect them to the AUDIO OUT L/R sockets of the TV set.
Using active loudspeakers
Switch off all equipment before connecting.
Plug the active loudspeakers into the
AUDIO OUT L/R sockets of the TV set.

The sound component wizard is open.
Select Speaker system ,
OK confirm.
Connect front speakers:
Select External speakers ,
OK confirm.
The connections on the adapter cable are preamplifier outputs. Therefore,
only active speakers may be connected.

Using TV loudspeakers and active subwoofer
Switch off all equipment before connecting.
Plug the active subwoofer into one of the
AUDIO OUT L/R sockets of
the TV set.

The sound component wizard is open.
Select Speaker system ,
OK confirm.
Connect front speakers:
Select TV speakers ,
OK confirm.
Connect subwoofer:
Select yes ,
OK confirm.
Adjust subwoofer level:
Set the subwoofer level as desired.
OK confirm.
Specify crossover frequency:
Set the highest limit frequency of the subwoofer.
OK confirm.
Subwoofer phase:
Use P+/P– to select a channel with music or start a music
playback from an external player (e.g. DVD player, Blu-ray
player).
Test both values (0º and 180º) and choose the one
that enables you to hear the bass playback more
clearly.
OK Confirm setting and close wizard.
