Technical Manual

1.

Introduction

This manual is only intended for technically trained personel!

It was designed to enable the technician to carry out repairs on board—level in case of malfunction. Attempts
of repairs going on component level or, due to missing knowledge, will cause follow up defects, will lead
automatically to lapse of any warranty claims. The manufacturer reserves the right to check units, having been
returned for repair, to that effect.

In the case you should need support via telephone, please keep ready the ident—no. and the serial—no., both
can be found on the type label, located on the rearside of the unit, close to the mains inlet.

If you will have to return a defective unit for repair, please attach a detailed fault description, including when
and how the problem appears ( e.g. always after swichting on, sporadically, etc.)

In the unlikely event a problem should be unreproducible in our workshop, we immediately would like to get in
contact with you. For this reason it is very helpful if in the delivery note, besides the fault description, also a
technical contact person (incl. telephone—no.) is mentioned.

When working at respectively inside the device, always
disconnect mains inlet!
There are dangerous voltages inside the unit. The
regulations
and safety instructions according to VDE
shall be valid as well as the respective national
deviations!
Keep to ESD regulations!
