Playback of Media Files
With your
AudioVision
you can play back the digital media files saved on discs
or USB sticks.

DivX Subtitle
Select the Subtitles as described on page 22.
Conditions for video files
•
The maximum image resolution of the DivX file is smaller or equal to 720 x
576 (W x H) pixels.
•
The file name of the DivX file is a maximum of 45 characters long.
•
Characters in DivX file names that can not be shown are displayed as ”_”.
•
Maximum refresh rate 30 images per second.
•
If the sound and video track are not synchronous, either sound or video is
played.
•
Valid DivX file endings for videos are: ”.avi”, ”.divx”, ”mpg”, ”.mpeg”.
•
Subtitle formats that can be played back: SubRip(*.srt/*.txt),
SAMI(*.smi), SubStation Alpha(*.ssa/*.txt), MicroDVD(*.sub/*.txt),
SubViewer 2.0(*.sub/*.txt).
•
Video Codecs that can be played back: ”DivX3.xx”, ”DivX4.xx”,
”DivX5.xx”, ”MP4V3”, ”3IVX”.
•
Audio Codecs that can be played back ”Dolby Digital” (AC3),
”PCM”, ”MP3”, ”DTS (only at DIGITAL OUT)”, ”WMA”.
•
MP3 Bit rates: 32 - 320 kbps.
•
WMA Bit rates: 40 - 192 kbps.
•
Discs, that have been formatted with the Live File System can not be played
back on this device.
•
If the video file and the subtitle file have different file names, then while playing
back a DivX file, it is possible that no subtitles are shown.
•
It is possible that DivX files that deviate from the DivX specification may not
able to be played back.
USB Operation
•
You can connect a commercially available MP3 Player with its own power
supply or a USB stick directly to the USB socket.
•
The standard USB 1.1 and 2.0 is supported.
•
The USB device may not be disconnected during a file transfer.
•
Only the file systems FAT16 and FAT32 are supported.
•
The maximum number of files is 1000. The search run can take more than
1 minute.
•
Devices that require an additional software installation to be connected to a
computer are not supported.
•
Other connection options than the USB connections mentioned above are
not supported.
