How To: Download and Upload Data
The data stored on internal memory (the flash memory in the unit), including the routes, waypoints, logged tracking
data, can be downloaded to a PC or Notebook for post analysis or for other applications. The routes and
waypoints edited on PC or Notebook can also be uploaded to the unit:
Basic Operation of Downloading or Uploading:
z
Make sure the driver of USB-to-Serial Comm Port has been
successfully installed on your PC/Notebook.
z
Connecting the USB data cable between the unit and your
PC/Notebook.
z
Power on the unit, and select the NAVI LINK page
z
Press in the
TS,
the unit will the
show the page illustrated as
z
Execute the utility,
NAVILINK.exe
on your PC/Notebook.
z
You will see the page displayed on
the screen illustrated as
then select the items you want to download or upload.
z
When data transfer has been completed, press the
Power/ESC
button to reset the unit.
z
