3. Remove the center lag bolt
and black plastic locking
screw, the small set screw
and the black tilt adjustment
screw from the fan motor
attachment base. (see Picture
A)
4. Attach the fan motor to the upright fan base by sliding down and aligning the screw
holes.

Re-insert the set screw and tighten securely in the open top hole of the plastic collar.
Then insert the lag bolt and secure with the black plastic locking nut.

Re-insert the black plastic tilt adjustment screw and tighten securely.

The last step is to connect the male power plug located on the back of the fan motor
housing to the corresponding female plug located on the back of the neck at the top
of the fan base. These must be joined for the fan to operate when the cord end is
plugged into the power outlet.

You are now ready to enjoy your fan!
