The bread slot is only suitable for toasting regular bread slices. Irregular shapes cannot be toasted.
Most types of breads and pastries can be toasted; such as bagels, tea cakes, thick sliced breads,
English muffins, waffles, etc. Slices should
not
, however, be so thick as to cause burning or jamming
in the bread slots. If oversized do not attempt to toast.
In order to achieve uniform colour we recommend that you should wait a minimum of 30 seconds
between each toasting so that colour control can reset automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, unplug from the appliance and let the appliance cool down completely.
Wipe the external surfaces with a soft dry cloth, never use metal polish, flammable or abrasive
cleaners.
Empty the crumb tray frequently – this is removed by gently pulling on the crumb tray handle.
Crumbs will accumulate in the crumb tray and could catch fire if not emptied periodically. When the
toaster has cooled down completely, tap the sides of the toaster lightly to dislodge any crumbs
caught in the toaster chamber, remove the crumb tray and empty it. Wipe the tray clean with a
damp cloth or place it in the top rack of your dishwasher for cleaning. Tap sides again to ensure
proper disposal. Return crumb tray back into the toaster before using again.
When not used or in storage, the power cord may be wound under the bottom of toaster.
CAUTION

If toaster starts to smoke, Press the
CANCEL
button to stop toasting immediately.
Avoid toasting food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster from the
electrical outlet first, Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating elements when
removing bread.
