PUTTING INTO SERVICE
MAINS OPERATION
1. Switch mains wall socket off. The socket must be in good working order and electrically.
2. Plug charger adapter into mains supply wall socket.
3. Switch clipper off.
4. Push together connectors from charger adapter and clipper leads.
5. Ensure blades are secure, lightly tensioned and oiled.
6. Ensure air vents are free of hair
7. Switch mains wall socket on. Use RCD circuit breaker.
8. Switch clipper on, adjust tension and clip
BATTERY PACK OPERATION
1. Fasten securely and adjust battery pack belt.
2. Switch clipper & battery pack off.
3. Push together connectors from Clipper and battery pack
4. Ensure blades are secure, lightly tensioned and oiled
5. Ensure air vents are free of hair
6. Switch battery pack on
7. Switch clipper on, adjust tension and clip
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
1. Charging must be carried out indoors in a dry area and not close to flammable materials.
2. Switch off mains wall socket and plug charger adapter into socket
3. Push switch on battery pack to off position.
4. Push together connector and charger adapter leads.
5. Switch wall socket on.
6. Charge for 4 hours.
7. Switch off wall socket and disconnect battery pack and charger adapter.
8. Do not leave the battery pack overnight on charge.
HINTS FOR MAINTAINING THE LIFE OF BATTERY PACK
• Periodically, fully discharge the battery pack by powering the clipper until the clipper stops.
During this process, do not attach the blades to clipper.
