MAINTENANCE

Regularly maintaining your Super73 is the best way to protect your
investment. Proper maintenance is essential to your safety. It will also
reward you with a more economical and trouble-free riding experience.
Before maintenance and adjustments, make sure the battery is removed from
the bike, and /or motor is turned off. Operate on a level surface. This will
eliminate several potential hazards: injury from moving parts, electric shock,
damaging of bike.

Read the instructions before you begin and make sure you have the
tools and skills required. You should wear eye protection when
working near the battery or using compressed air.

Brakes

See video on our website on how to adjust: www.lithiumcycles.com/pages/owners
Like any new brakes, they need to be broken in. There is a break-in period. If
you notice a squeal-like sound, it’s normal. The brakes are naturally
adjusting. It will go away. Depending on the frequency of use, you may need to
replace the brake pads. You can purchase online brake replacement online
or through Lithium Cycles.

Wheels

For optimum speed, wheels should be inflated to a minimum of 20 psi.
Inspection: Every time you check for inflation you should also examine the
tire for damage, foreign objects and wear. You should look for bumps or bulges
in the tread or side of tire. Cuts, splits, cracks on side of tire. Replace tire if
you can see fabric or cords.

In addition to proper inflation, correct wheel alignment helps to decrease tire
wear. If you find a tire is worn unevenly, have your dealer check the wheel
alignment.

Oiling

is not needed for the Super73 V2.

Cleaning

Clean the frame like any other vehicle you own with soap and water, using a soft
cloth so as not to scratch paint. Take care to not spray electronic components
directly with liquids.
