Temporarily raise light kit fitter to fitter plate (on
underside of motor) to determine which 2
screws in fitter plate align with slotted holes in
light kit fitter and then lower light kit fitter and
partially loosen these 2 screws. Remove the
other screw.
Locate
WHITE
and
BLUE
wires from motor
housing labeled FOR LIGHT and remove the
plastic binding. Connect
BLUE
wire from motor
housing to
BLACK
wire from light kit fitter.
Connect
WHITE
wire from motor housing to
WHITE
wire from light kit fitter. Be sure that
molex connections snap together securely.
Align slotted holes in light kit fitter with
loosened screws in fitter plate. Twist light kit
fitter to lock. Re-insert the screw that was
previously removed and securely tighten all 3
screws.
Remove 2 small screws located near the center
of the light kit fitter. Use these 2 screws to attach
the wire cover to the light kit fitter. (Be sure that
wires are positioned so that they align with
corresponding slots on wire cover.)
Install 2 candelabra base 60 watt max. bulbs
(included).
Locate slots on glass shade and align with
dimples on light kit fitter (located on underside
of the light kit fitter). Turn glass shade in a
clockwise direction until it slides into place.
IMPORTANT
:
The glass shade must be removed
in order to replace the bulbs. When you need to
replace the bulbs, please allow bulb(s) and glass
shade to cool down before touching.
