PUMP DISASSEMBLY
Follow the procedure below and refer to the Exploded View Drawing on page 27.
5.3.1
Cartridge Removal

Remove the four sets of bolts (

), nuts (

)
and lockwashers (

) that secure the
front housing (

) to the pedestal (

).

Remove the
pump cartridge
from the pedestal
by pulling it straight out.
NOTE:
Force will have to be applied to overcome
the magnetic attraction between the outer and
inner magnets.)

Drain the liquid inside the containment can (

)
thru one of the ports of the cartridge.

Cartridge Disassembly

Remove the six containment can
screws (

); then separate the
containment can (
20
) from the
front housing (

).
Caution!
Do not place hands or fingers between
the Cartridge and Pedestal.
Caution!
Some trace fluid may remain in the pump
and containment can even after draining.
