Introduction

The Variable Height Table Pedestal (Fig. 1) has two telescoping cylinders, powered by gas struts, that allow

the pedestal height to be adjusted from 13" to 28". The top cylinder extends a maximum of 8

1/2

" and the

bottom cylinder extends a maximum of 9".
