When you put the devise away, place it in a suitable bag or box to prevent it from
becoming crushed. Make sure that no sharp objects can penetrate the blanket when it
in storage.
Do not use sprays or anti-moth products on the blanket.
Store the blanket in a dry place.
SAFETY MEASURES
Just as with any appliance, incorrect use can lead to overheating, fire or injuries.
Before you use the devise carefully read the instructions below. Before you use the
blanket you must make sure that the voltage in your home is set between 230-240V,
this is the voltage of the electrically heated blanket. Do not use any extension cables/
leads.
Do not use the devise if the electric lead is damaged, this can result in overheating,
fire or injuries. Do not jam the lead between bed bars, mattress, slats, wall or any other
parts of the bed. This can damage the lead.
Do not use the lead with a bed that is used by a baby, disabled persons, paralysed
persons, diabetics, and persons insensitive or oversensitive to warmth or persons who
do not understand the instructions and/or are not able to operate the controls properly.
Young children are not permitted to use the devise, unless the devise has been pre-
programmed by an adult/parent or guardian, or the children have received correct
instructions on how to operate the devise safely.
The heated blanket is not to be used for medical purposes or in hospitals.
Do not use the devise on an adjustable bed.
Do not trap, stretch or expose the electrical wiring/heating element. Damaged heating
elements can lead to overheating, fire or injuries.
Do not use any other heating devises on the same bed, for example, another heated
blanket or pillow.
Keep the controls away from an opened window.
Turn the devise off and remove the plug from the socket when not in use.
Wash only by hand or in the washing machine, do not dry-clean. Do not use bleach or
aggressive detergents when cleaning the blanket because these agents can damage the
element’s electrical insulation.
Do not use pins, brooches, safety pins or sharp objects on the heated blanket because
these will damage the electrical wiring in the heating element.
Keep dogs, cats and other pets away from the blanket. The devise can cause injuries or
it may get damaged.
Do not attempt to place the blanket in the bed when it is already switched on because
this can cause overheating. Do not use the blanket folded or rucked.
Use only the control unit supplied with the blanket. The use of any other control unit
can cause overheating or fire.
Do not turn the devise off by pulling the electric lead out of the socket. Always switch
the devise off from the control unit then remove the plug from the socket.
