7. Switch off the on/off switch to stop slicing. Unplug the appliance when it is not in
use.
REMOVING AND REPLACING THE BLADE
1. Remove the blade from the slicer by turning the screw in the middle of the blade
clockwise, using a large coin or a screwdriver. Be careful when removing the
screw and the blade.
2. To replace the blade: place the blade in the same position, with the large black
ring on the inside, inside the slicer.
3. Tighten the screw in its place again by turning it counterclockwise using a coin or
screwdriver. Make sure that the screw and the blade are tightened well.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Always unplug the slicer before cleaning. Make sure that the on/off switch is
switched off.
• Never immerse the appliance in water
• Before cleaning the appliance, set the slice thickness to “0”.
• Remove the blade from the slicer by turning the screw in the middle of the blade
clockwise, using a large coin or a screwdriver. Be careful when removing the
screw and the blade.
• Clean the blade with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly. Be careful
while handling the very sharp blade. Do not touch the blade with bare hands.
• Clean the press plate and the food sled and dry thoroughly.To remove the food
sled from the appliance, press and hold the small grey button at the side of the
appliance (4) - for instance with a spoon - and slide the food sled to the right so
that it slides off the appliance.
• You can clean the rest of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth and maybe some
mild detergent.
• Do not use any sharp objects to remove the dirt.
