6. Allow the appliance to heat up. Set the desired temperature, using the buttons on the
temperature control panel. The pre-heating time requires at least 3 min., and will then
depend on the temperature selected and the air temperature. Set the time with the
buttons on the timer control panel. Press the on-off button to start the heating. The
display will show the symbol:
The appliance has reached the desired temperature when the red star of the symbol
disappears.
7. Pull the frying pan out of the appliance. The fryer will automatically stop working. Place
the ingredients into the basket. Do not overfill the basket, so that the the ingredients can
not touch the heating elements. Place the frying pan with the filled basket back into the
fryer. The fryer will automatically start working again (if the set time had not been passed
yet).
8. Set the desired time, using the buttons on the timer control panel.
Or use one of the following pre-set programmes. Press the M button (Menu button).
Each time you press the button, the next one of the following programmes will appear:

These programmes are only given as an indication. The results depend on the size, shape and
amount of the food.
9. Once the desired time or the desired programme has been selected, press the on-off
button. The time will begin to count down from the time set and will be visible on the
display.
