Installation

1.

Place the local extender near the computer.

2.

Install the supplied USB cable between the local extender and USB port on the host

Connect the supplied power adapter to the local or remote extender, based on installation
requirement. Use only the power adapter supplied with the LINDY USB 2.0 Extender Pro;
use of substitute adapters may cause permanent damage to the system and will void the
warranty.Never plug a power adapter to both lcoal and remote extenders, as this may also
cause permanent damage to the system.

5.

Connect the local to the remote extender by using a Cat.5 (or better) cable (not included!).
Data transfer rates depend on the quality and length of the cable. Best results for great
distances are reached with Solid Core cabling.
