Thank  you  for  purchasing  the  LINDY  USB  2.0  Cat.5  Extender.  The  USB  Cat.5  Extender  is 
composed of a transmitting and receiving unit, and enables any USB host device to send data 
up to 100 metres

This LINDY USB 2.0 Cat.5 Extender

 

provides the option to apply power at the local or remote extender. The 

supplied 24V, 1A power adapter can be connected to either the local or remote extender for normal operation.   
This option gives added flexibility/convenience for installers who can carry one product for multiple customers. 
Never power both – local and remote - extenders as the units may be damaged.
