SCR BRIDGE / HEAT SINK ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE

13. Clear all leads and carefully maneuver

SCR bridge out of the right side of the
machine.

NOTE: Upon reassembly, apply a thin layer of

Lincoln Electric T12837 (Dow Corning
340) heat sink compound to all bolted
electrical connections on the alu-
minum heat sinks.

UPON REASSEMBLY, THE SCR BRIDGE
ASSEMBLY MUST BE ELECTRICALLY
ISOLATED FROM GROUND. MINIMUM
ACCEPTABLE RESISTANCE TO GROUND
IS 500K OHMS.
