OPERATIONS
1. Testing 1.5-volt battery
1.1 Pull the test arm out.
1.2 Position the battery as shown in the picture to the right with +
pole faces up.
1.3 Gently press down the test arm until good contact is made
between the battery and the tester.
1.4 The result of the battery check can be read on the left scale.
2. Testing 9-volt battery
2.1 Position the tester and the battery as indicated in the picture to
right (+ to the + pole, and - to the - pole).
2.2 Gently press the battery against the battery terminals of the
tester.
2.3 The result of the battery check can be read on the right scale.
3. Battery install or replacement
NOTE:
When battery power goes below 1.1 V the low
battery symbol will appear and
flash. Please replace the battery.
3.1 Slide the battery cover out.
3.2 Insert the battery as indicated in the battery compartment.
3.3 Reinstall the battery cover.
