Accessory Kit Sanitizing

Accessory Kit Sanitizing

Before using the accessory kit for the first time

Caution!

Unless there is a label stating

sterile

on the kit, the

accessory kit is not supplied sterile. It’s not necessary that the parts
be sterile, but some must be sanitized before the first time you use
the pump. After the first time you use the pump, the accessories will
only need a simple cleaning procedure,

see page 31-5

DO NOT BOIL THESE PARTS

The filter, tubing, connector, clamp, and “Y” connector do not need
to be sanitized as air is all that flows through the parts. The filter is
designed to last the duration of your current breast-feeding goals.
