AMM8A SSI & BiSS C-mode
CONFIGURATION SETTING EXAMPLE
You need to set the following parameters next to the
register:
= 00 = current encoder position information
= 0 = enable
= 1 = Binary
= 1 = CW
Thus you will have as follows:
Bit 0
= POSITION INFORMATION
= 0
= 0
= ENABLE
= 0
Bit 3
= not used
= 0
Bit 4
= not used
= 0
= BINARY
= 1
= CW
= 1
Bit 7
= not used
= 0
Therefore you must set 60h = 0110 0000
2
1. Enter the value 60h = 0110 0000
2
register.
2. Save the value by using the
register (set “01” in the
register).

Information per revolution
[4B … 4D, ro]
These registers are meant to show the number of physical information per
revolution (singleturn resolution). For information see the order code, the
singleturn resolution can be up to 20 bits, i.e. 1,048,576 cpr (AMM8A
xx
/xxxxx...).
You can read the number of bits used for the singleturn resolution also at the
register 56
