About FlightLink
FlightLink is the proprietary app
developed by Lightspeed Aviation for
Apple iPad
®
and iPhone
®
. Using the free FlightLink app,
pilots can customize key audio and other settings
of their Zulu PFX headset, as well as record cockpit
communications for instant playback or later retrieval.
Activating FlightLink
• Download FlightLink from the App Store.
• Use Bluetooth to connect your headset to your
Apple device.
• Tap the FlightLink icon on your iPad or iPhone to
begin using FlightLink.
Note:
Your headset must be connected to your aircraft’s
intercom for FlightLink’s recorder features to function.
Connecting Using a Cable vs. Bluetooth
FlightLink’s recording functions will work with either
the auxiliary input cable or a wireless Bluetooth
connection. However, using the auxiliary cable may
extend battery life.
Using FlightLink to change the headset audio settings
via your iPhone or iPad requires a Bluetooth connection.

• Record all radio and intercom communication.
• Instantly play back from any point in the last two
minutes of recording.
• Store your recordings in your iTunes
®
library.
• Draw notes, codes, or diagrams on the iPad
scratchpad for reference.
