INSTALLATION AND OPERATION RULES
The luminaire should be used according to «Standard code of customer electrical installations».
Installation, cleaning and replacing of the components should be done only with the main power
off. The diffuser should be cleaned with soft cloth and mild detergent.
1. Remove the diffuser from unpacked the luminaire, engage mounting brackets.
2. Place the luminaire so the brackets are fixed on ceiling carrying racks.
3. Mounting scheme. (at fig. a – bracket, b – rake, c – rail).
3.1. For ALD UNI LED 600: ceiling carrying racks should be placed at 650-660 mm from each
other, luminaire’s slot length is 630-640 mm, width – one 200 mm lathe, or two 100 mm lathes, or
four 50 mm lathes, or eight 25 mm lathes.
3.2. For ALD UNI LED 1200: сeiling carrying racks should be placed at 1260-1270 mm from each
other, luminaire’s slot length is 1240-1250 mm, width – one 200 mm lathe, or two 100 mm lathes,
or four 50 mm lathes, or eight 25 mm lathes. For ease of installation, do not place lathes along
one side of luminaire’s slot.
4. Put the mains cable through the cable gland (cable outer diameter should be 6-8 mm) and
connect it to luminaire’s terminal block.
5. Use the mounting brackets to adjust the luminaire’s height (diffuser frame should be directly on
the ceiling lathes).
6. Assemble rest of lathes (put them under the diffuser frame).
7. Connect mains wires to terminal block according to polarity shown.
8. Before starting the operation of the luminaire with emergency power supply unit
(CONVERSION KIT LED K-301) it is necessary to conduct 3-4 charging-discharging cycles on
the battery to obtain its nominal capacity. Charging duration is 24 hours in normal temperature
and supply voltage is 0.9-1.06 of nominal value.
9. Testing: by making connections and pressing TEST button or TELEMANDO. When ON button
is pressed on TELEMANDO the device will engage the emergency state even when mains supply
is present. To return to standard state release the ON button. (there is approximately 2 seconds
delay).
10. Standby mode/reactivating: in emergency state when TEST button is pressed for 3 seconds
or when ON button is pressed and held, the device will go to standby mode, LED module is
disconnected and battery charge is not used. Further pressing and holding the TELEMANDO's
ON button for 3 seconds the device will engage the emergency state and LED module will be
powered on.
Attention! When module is disconnected from mains power for a long time (more than 7 days) it
is necessary to disconnect battery either manually or using TELEMANDO control unit to prevent
its discharge.
11. When regulated control gear is used, control wires polarity must follow label markings.
12. Replace back the diffuser. Attention! The diffuser’s screws tightening torque should not result
the deformation of the diffuser.
