Take another 

5cm Connecting Cable

 and connect it to the IN port on the Multi

Effects Board (side with one port). Connect the other end of the 5cm
Connecting Cable to a spare port on the 6-Port Expansion Board, then connect
the AA Battery Pack to the remaining Port.
