•  Tighten the four 

Hex Nuts (ADM)

 on top of the pole 

plate until they are secure against the plate, 
ensuring the Backboard remains vertical. Turn 
the center 

Hex Bolt (AEO)

 until it is flush against 

the pole plate.

• Place a 

Plastic Cap (AQO)

 onto each J-Bolt.

•  Lower the Backboard until the top of the Rim is 7.5 feet (90”) above the playing surface. Use a pencil to mark where 

the bottom of the 

Crank Adjust Cover 

meets the 

Crank Mechanism

 as shown. Remove about an inch of backing from the 

top of the 

Height Sticker (AKP)

. Squeeze the Crank Adjust Cover to allow room for the Height Sticker and apply the 

Sticker to the back of the Crank Mechanism, lining up the 7.5’ line with the pencil mark on the Mechanism. Press 
the Sticker into place while slowly removing the rest of the backing to prevent wrinkles in the Sticker.
