Have one adult hold the
Lifter Arms (ALS)
in place as shown. Attach the Lifter Arms to the
Handle Assembly (AKI)
with the
Bolt (EKV)
. Make sure to slide the
Handle Lock Bracket (AKX)
and the Spacers shown onto the Bolt as it passes through
the Handle Bracket, Lifter Arms, Handle Assembly and Gas Springs. Secure the hardware with a
Centerlock Nut (EIP)
.
Use a Rubber Mallet, if necessary, to tap the Bolt into place.

Note: Coat the 5/8” x 8 5/8” Bolt (DDX) lightly with White
Silicone Grease (AKH) before performing this step. DO NOT USE
the Dark Lithium Grease, as this may damage the Gas Springs.
WARNING
Slide the Lock Bracket over the Trigger Pin and
use the Pad Lock provided to lock the Handle in
place once this step is complete. Failure to lock
the Handle may result in serious personal injury.

Note: Coat the Bolt (EKV) lightly with White Silicone Grease
(AKH) before performing this step. DO NOT USE the Dark
Lithium Grease, as this may damage the Gas Springs.

Note: DO NOT overtighten the hardware. The Handle
components must move freely around the Bolts.
A slight gap should be visible on each side of the
spacers.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE HARDWARE!
