Professionals may use the test strips to test capillary, venous, arterial
and neonatal blood sample for blood glucose test or to test capillary
only for β-ketone or total cholesterol test; home use is limited to
capillary whole blood testing.
Test Principle
Your system measures the amount of glucose/β-ketone/total
cholesterol in whole blood. The glucose/β-ketone/total cholesterol
testing is based on the measurement of electrical current generated
by the reaction of glucose/β-ketone/total cholesterol with the reagent
of the strip. The meter measures the current, calculates the glucose/
β-ketone/total cholesterol level, and displays the result. The strength
of the current produced by the reaction depends on the amount of
glucose/β-ketone/total cholesterol in the blood sample.
