OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1 .  Turn the heater on or off by pressing the Power 

switch on the heat output vent assembly (C) to the I 
position .

2 .  Turn the fan switch to the on position . Then select a 

heat setting by pressing the 500 W heat buttons on 
the control panel (C) .
Power one heat mode for 500 W; power both heat 
modes for 1,000 W .

3 .  Set the thermostat by turning the thermostat knob on 

the control panel (C)
To increase the desired temperature, turn the 
thermostat dial to the right (clockwise) to increase, or 
left to decrease temperature . The thermostat control 
knob can only be used while the Power and Heat 
switch/switches are in the on position .
Once you have chosen the desired temperature, 
the heater will remain on until the room temperature 
increases to that level . Then, the heater will cycle on 
and off to maintain the desired room temperature .

4 .  To adjust the flame effect brightness, turn the dimmer 

dial clockwise or counter clockwise . The dimmer 
switch can only be used when the power switch is in 
the ON position .
