ECU Comms

(Optional)

For

Data Logging

(PRO only), an ECU comms connection is required to stream data from the

ECU to the USB. However, it also provides other advantages with or without the PRO spec

upgrade; it enables both the ECU and Dash to connect to a single PC Ethernet port making it

possible to program both devices through the Dash connection. It also allows the receiving of

ECU CAN items over

Ethernet

to reduce load on the CAN bus.

If the dash detects a connected ECU with the same ID, it will display a green Ethernet symbol.

The symbol only shows on primary display pages such as road, race or stage.

USB

(PRO only)

Data Logging

saves data onto a compatible USB memory stick. The dash should be wired to a

female USB port as below using standard USB data cable not exceeding 2m in length.

Software

Initial configuration and advanced customisation requires PC applications from the LifeSuite.

To install, contact your Life Racing distributor and you will be sent a link to the latest software

package. Download, run and follow the prompts to install.
