7.4 Troubleshooting Wireless Connectivity

Network issue
1.
Check internet connection. Verify by plug-
ging an Ethernet cable on a laptop into
the internet model and try and go to any
website.
2.
Check gateway function, Ethernet switch
and connections back to the modem.
Verify by plugging an Ethernet cable on a
laptop into the switch and try to go to any
website.
Exercisers cannot log into
ANY
of the
machines with Wireless Connectivity. The
message “Can not connect to equipment”
displayed on LFConnect app after logging
in by scanning the QR code.
3.
Check access point. Use a phone or a lap-
top to scan for SSID of “LFwireless”.
4.
Reset the gateway then all access points
by turning them off and then on again.
5. If still not working call Life Fitness service.
SEVERAL

be locked to a single channel that has less
traffic instead of a setting of Auto.

Open up the console. Locate the Wireless
Connectivity unit, open the housing and
remove the cover. On treadmills a LED
should be blinking slowly. On self pow-
ered products check while equipment is in
use. If no green LED is illuminated call Life
Fitness service.
