Cleaning
During cleaning of the wheelchair the electronic
components must not become wet. This concerns
particularly the control on the handle, the box under
the seat and the motors in the wheels. These may only
be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Please see the manual concerned for permitted
cleaning products for the wheelchair.
Be careful:
•
As the Aura push support is splash-proof, the
wheelchair should never be sprayed with a
high-pressure cleaner or hosepipe.
Tip:
•
Clean the wheelchair’s removable parts, such
as seat, back support, arm rests etc. away from
the wheelchair. This is a simple way to prevent
that the control components become wet.
Minor maintenance
The push support itself does not require any
maintenance. Other maintenance is stated in the
wheelchair manual.
•
The battery charger may only be
used in dry areas.
The battery does not need to be empty
before it is re-charged. You can re-charge
the battery at any desired time. You can also
interrupt the charging at any desired time.
Charging a fully discharged battery takes
approximately 7 hours.
1. Fix the battery charger to the connection
point on the wheelchair (C).
2. Put the plug in the wall socket.
The signal lamp on the charger will turn
red**.
If the push support is activated while the
charger is connected, the battery indicator
will display six fast-flashing lamps on the
control panel as a sign that the wheelchair
may not be driven.
In order to drive again you should do the
following:
1. Take the plug out of the wall socket.
2. Disconnect the battery charger from the
wheelchair.
3. Switch the push support off and then on
again.

Use
*
For long-term storage of the
battery: 10-30°C.
** If the charger lamp stays green
while the battery is partially or
completely discharged, there
is a fault in the wheelchair or
charger. The battery will not
charge. In this case, disconnect
the charger and please contact
your dealer.
