Transporting the wheelchair without occupant
(see also the chapter ‘Transport and storage’).
Warning:
•
Never remove the push handles as this will
damage the cabling.
•
Ensure that the control unit and control lever re-
main free during transportation. These can be-
come damaged if they are knocked or wedged.
Attention:
•
The wheelchair can be folded as described in
the wheelchair manual.
•
The Aura push support makes the wheelchair’s
basic section 24 kg heavier than the standard
wheelchair. With push support, the basic
section therefore weighs approximately 60 kg.
•
Switch off the push support while transporting
the wheelchair without occupant.

Warning:
•
Transportation with occupant is only permitted
if the wheelchair is provided with a crash-test
safe sticker.
Attention:
•
Switch off the push support while transporting
the wheelchair with occupant.
•
Use the battery charger only in well-ventilated
areas.
•
Do not expose the battery charger to rain and
moisture.
•
Never cover the battery charger and keep it
away from other objects.
•
Always keep the battery charger horizontal
(on the rubber soles).
Aura battery
Warning:
•
If there is an unusual smell, smoke, leak and/
or deformation of the battery, immediately
discontinue use.
•
Do not insert (metal) parts into the charging
socket, this may cause a short circuit.
Be careful:
•
Make sure you do not overload the Aura.
Observe the maximum user weight and
operating conditions.
•
Turn off the Aura immediately if you notice any
defects in the battery or electrical components.
Attention:
•
Do not use chemical cleaners on the electrical
components.
•
Make sure that the electrical components are
protected against excess water, e.g. while
cleaning.
•
Do not dispose of empty or defective
batteries with normal household waste. Check
with the local government for the regulations
that apply for the disposal of Household
Hazardous Waste.
