Getting to know the viewfi nder
Note: You can adjust the zoom using the
volume key on the left side of the phone. See
Changing the image size on page 33 for
details.
TIP! When using the camera, power
consumption increases. If icon appears
indicating low battery, recharge the battery
before use.
Using the quick settings
Select Settings to access the quick settings
options. These include various options for
taking photos.
Resolution - See Changing the image
size on page 33.
EV - Turn macro mode on if you are taking a
picture very close to the image subject.
Colour effect - Choose from four colour
tone options: Off (normal/colour), Sepia, Mono
(black and white) or Negative.
White balance - The white balance ensures
that any white in your photo is realistic. In
order for your camera to correctly adjust the
white balance you may need to determine the
light conditions. Choose from
Auto , Daylight ,
Incandescent , Cloudy or Fluorescent .
Self timer - The self-timer allows you to set
a delay after the capture button is pressed.
Choose from 3 seconds, 5 seconds or 10
seconds. Great for that group photo you want
to be part of.
Shot mode - Allows you to set the shot mode
from normal, Continuous shot, Panorama and
Smile shot .
ISO - Set the ISO to Auto, ISO 1600,ISO 800,
ISO 400, ISO 200 or ISO 100.
Quality - Choose between Normal , Fine and
Super fine . The fi ner the quality the sharper
a photo will be but the fi le size will increase
as a result, which means you will be able to
store fewer photos in your memory.
Memory in use - Choose whether to save
your photos to the phone memory or to the
external memory.
Hide icons - Auto/ Manual
Image stabilizer - Allows you to set the
Image stabilizer feature. The Image stabilizer
helps you get a better image when the target
is moving or when your hand is unsteady.
