Maincause ofgas leakageis defectin
flaringwork. Carryout correctflaring work
inthe followingprocedure.
1)Cut thepipes andthe cable .
Usethe accessorypiping kitor thepipes
purchasedlocally .
Measurethe distancebetween the
indoorand theoutdoor unit.
Cutthe pipesa littlelonger than
measureddistance.
Cutthe cable1.5m longerthan thepipe
length.
2)Burr sremo val
Completelyremove allburrs fromthe cut
crosssection ofpipe/tube.
Putthe endof thecopper tube/pipeto
downwarddirection asyou removeburrs
inorder toavoid tolet burrsdrop inthe
tubing.
3)Putting nut on
Removeflare nutsattached toindoor
andoutdoor units,than putthem on
pipe/tubehaving completedburr
removal.
(Notpossible toput themon afterflaring
work)
4)Flaring work
Carryout flaringwork usingflaring tool
asshown below.
Firmlyhold coppertube ina bar(ordie) as
indicateddimension inthe tableabove.
5)Chec k
Comparethe flaredwork withfigure.
Ifflare isnoted tobe defective,cut off
theflared sectionand doflaring work
again.
