ABC manual mode
This mode allows you to enter letters by
pressing the key labeled with the required
letter once, twice, three or four times until
the letter is displayed.
123 mode
Type numbers using one keystroke per
number. You can also add numbers while
remain in letter modes by pressing and
holding the desired key.
Innovations
Lantern
Use the flashlight lightly touching the
navigation key . To turn off tap any
key on the numeric keyboard. To have it
constantly on, press for a few seconds.
Do the same to turn off.
Chat box
You can send and receive messages in only
one display options by going to Menu
>
Messaging
>
Chat box
>
New chat
>
select contact > Chat > type the message >
Options > Send .
Note : When using the chat option do not
change the screen, otherwise the received
message is sent to your inbox.
SOS Message
You can create your own message to send
to three selected numbers in an emergency
situation only by pressing the 9 key for two
seconds. Once you have entered numbers
and text, you may not modify anymore.
Fake call
You can schedule a call with name and
phone to call in a given time. To turn
on this feature tap Menu > Tools > Fake
call > choose On > insert the time and
sender >
Options
>
Save.
Note:
While the fake call is on, the
network services will be temporarily
disable and will be activated again when
ends the fake call.
Messaging
Your GS155a includes functions related to
SMS (Short Message Service).
Sending a message
1 Press Menu > Messaging and choose
New message .
2 A new message editor will open.
3 Enter your message using either the T9
predictive mode or Abc manual mode.
You can switch text input mode by
pressing .

Press Menu > Messaging . The folder
structure used on your GS155a is fairly
self-explanatory.
New message : allows you to create new
messages.
Inbox
: all the messages you receive are
placed in your Inbox.
